Since it first began as Appraisal & Analysis office under the Ministry of Finance, Central Customs Laboratory has been making contributions in maintaining the system of Customs inspection process by providing precise analysis of specifications, properties, and function; as well as in developing national economy by securing duty income with proper assessment of Customs duties for more than 50 years.
Today, we are striving with the best effort to protect public health and contribute to the national economy as per recent public calls for business-friendly analysis administration services and preventing imports potential public health hazard due to the proliferation of Free Trade Agreements worldwide. In addition, we are responding to trade technology barriers, developing analysis methods to confirm the country of origin, exercising our creative conception, and exhibiting utmost expertise and passion on our duties responsibilities.
The website of Central Customs Laboratory provides information regarding knowledge on products and HS classification. Also, we prepared a variety of menus such as ‘Analysis Information’, ‘About the KCCL’ and ‘News/Notices’ in order to reflect valuable opinions on improving Customs analysis administrations from neighboring countries.
