□ The Korea Customs Service held a training session on customs administration for Belarusian Customs officials from December 15 to 17.
o In order to foster a favorable trade environment, the Korea Customs Service invited Customs officials from major partner countries to carry out trainings for their capacity building.
o Considering the COVID-19 situation, this session took place online, as such, any Belarusian Customs officer can participate in the training without restrictions on the number of participants.
□ The Korea Customs Service had organized various training sessions including on single window, e-commerce clearance procedures, and measures to support customs administration to address trade barriers and expand exports.
o In addition, it was conducted in real time using a video conference program in order to deliver lively lectures and answer questions immediately.
□ The training, which was held with Belarus Customs, is expected to greatly contribute to the creation of a favorable customs clearance environment in the future by promoting exchanges between the two Customs authorities as well as cultivating participants’ capabilities.
