Dear Sir/Madam Thank you for visiting our site Regarding your question, The general rules for the carry-in of medicines are as follows. If taken as a general medicinal product for self-use, a 3-month dose may be taken for use under the prescription of a doctor. However, it may not be possible to bring it into Korea if it contains prohibited ingredients. For reference, medicines must have a packaging condition or prescription to identify the ingredients. The prohibition of the drug is not checked by the Customs office, but by the KFDA. In addition, Customs does not have a list of prohibited ingredients and is notified by the KFDA. The customs office carries out customs clearance based on the confirmation of the relevant agency. If a drug is prohibited to be imported into Korea, it must be confirmed by the relevant agency. Please check with the Food and Drug Administration (www.mfds.go.kr/eng, ☎ 1577-1255 or ☎ + 82-43-719-1564, e-mail: narcotics@korea.kr) for possible imports. If you are confirmed by the Food and Drug Administration, when you come in, you can report to the customs office and show the relevant documents(such as a doctor’s prescription, ingredient check, etc.) to the customs officers How to report is as follows. When entering the country, Please check the ‘Are you carrying any goods prohibited or restricted from entry into Korea’ column of the traveler’s customs declaration form(check ‘Yes’ on the category of number 4 of the Traveler Declaration Form) and submit it to the customs officer. If you submit this to a customs officer, the customs officer will guide you to the separate declaration or inspect the declared items. Perhaps you can show them the relevant documents(doctor prescriptions, ingredient identification, KFDA approval documents, etc.). The KCS Customer Support Center only provides general customs administration procedures and related laws and regulations. If you have any questions regarding customs clearance, you should contact the department directly responsible for the customs clearance.
