There had been 'the 8th CBCTI Experts Workshop on Harmonized System for Asia-Pacific Customs Officials' in Central Board Control Training Institute (CBCTI), Korea, which is also working as WCO RTC(Regional Training Center). The institute hosted the workshop with more than 18 participants from 14 countries(Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam) and covered various topics regarding HS Classification. In addition to the introduction persentation from Korea representatives, a number of Country Reports were presented to share issues of each country of the participants. As the Customs Analysis becomes the base for accurate HS Classification, Korea Central Customs Laboratory not only participated the workshop but also invited the HS experts to its laboratory, and gave them a Lab-Tour program(field trip) together with detailed explanation about the instruments for Customs analysis.
